It's been a while since there was an opportunity to travel internationally, but that chance finally came with a return to Europe for joining several members of Buzzed Bars to enjoy some of the best theme parks the continent has to offer! Before joining the crew, there was the journey to get there going through Canada to get to Paris.
To get this coaster trip in Europe started, there was a visit to Jardin d'Acclimatation during a layover in Paris, which was followed by flights to get to Kraków, and a drive over to Park Kolejowy, where they have a shameless coaster credit and a neat small train ride to enjoy!
While not the kind of stop someone would tend to think of making as part of a trip to visit various theme parks, the importance of the sites of Auschwitz felt too significant to pass on, so we went to see both the death camp of Auschwitz-Birkenau and the work camp of Auschwitz I.
Time to kick off Stumblelandia, the first ever International Buzzed Bards Coaster Club event! The first day focused on trying to ride as many coasters of Energylandia as we could, including some of the most anticipated coasters of the whole Europe trip!
As Stumblelandia continues, the Buzzed Bars crew head over to Legendia for the likes of Lech Coaster and some awesome churros, before heading back to Energylandia for more rides on Zadra and Hyperion to conclude the first international event in club history.
With Stumblelandia completed, a large group of he Buzzed Bars crew head over to the Netherlands for the start of the longer European adventure. Things don't quite go to plan though as some folks find other ways of getting to and from the park, and some of the coasters at Walibi Holland are missed for various reasons.
After the rough patch in the Netherlands, the Buzzed Bars crew continue on to Germany, where they stop by Heide Park and Hansa Park, riding coasters like Colossus, Krake, Flucht von Novgorod and Schwur des Kärnan. There were also some unique experiences with a massive slide tower and a very heavy boat on a water ride.
The Buzzed Bars Crew's journey in Europe heads North to Denmark, where they make visits to two more laidback parks in Djurs Sommerland and Fårup Sommerland, riding their coasters and trying to avoid disaster on raft slides, play structures and log flumes.
