2016 New Zealand & Australia Trip Home

The final day of the trip was a bit uneventful as I had done another red-eye flight to Auckland from Melbourne, and having been a long trip, I was getting to the end of my energy, thus I took advantage of the lounge area of the hotel I would be staying at for relax for a while. at one point, I decided that I was ready to get out and go for a walk, and would make my way to Auckland's Central Business District, and see that there were many Christmas decorations that had been put up since Phillip and I were here earlier in the trip. Some of the decorations included special holiday windows like the ones at Myer in Melbourne.

In the plaza near city hall, they had a large LEGO Christmas tree with several figures surrounding it.

After a bit more of a walk, I was about done for the day, and would call it an early night as my flight out of Auckland would be departing fairly early, and I would be connecting through Brisbane to get back to Los Angeles. The flight from Brisbane would be my first flight on a Boeing 747, which I have to admit, it was a bummer that it took this long to finally do so since the 747 for many airlines is being retired and replaced with newer models.

​And that is the end of the New Zealand and Australia Visit of 2016. It was an excellent trip that offered the ability to see many of the famous sites of the Land Down Under, and even though there were several coasters closed while visiting, there are plenty of reasons to come back. I would like to thank you all for checking it out, and hope that you will continue to visit Coasting with Culture in the future for more updates!
