Part 1 - Charlestown Navy Yard
(October 4 & 5, 2017)
​The start of an extended weekend in the Northeast, beginning in Boston with a visit to the Charlestown Navy Yard, home of the historic USS Constitution.

Part 2 - Bunker Hill & Cheers
(October 5, 2017)
​Continuing the exploration of Boston with a visit to the historic site for the Battle of Bunker Hill, and a restaurant themed after the popular television show, Cheers.

Part 3 - Funworld Game Center & Topsfield Fair
(October 5, 2017)
​The first coaster stops of the trip for a few shameless coaster credits, beginning at Funworld Game Center, then to one of the oldest operating fairs in the United States, Topsfield Fair.

​Part 4 - An Evening in Salem
(October 5, 2017)
​Wrapping up the first day in the Northeast by heading to the town famous for its witch trials and seeing a little bit of the festivities centered around Halloween.

​The Official Presidential Library for the 35th President of the United States, with several exhibit spaces with artifacts and mementos about the life and career of JFK.

​Part 6 - Edaville Family Theme Park
(October 6, 2017)
​A stop at a small family-owned theme park in Southeast Massachusetts with many ties to the railroad industry, and one of the most popular fictional trains.

Part 7 - Six Flags New England
(October 6 & 7, 2017)
​A quick evening and morning visit to one of the best parks in the Northeast which had recently opened a very popular RMC rebuilt coaster!

Part 8 - Lake Compounce
(October 7, 2017)
​An evening visit to one of the oldest amusement parks in the country, enjoying their newest coaster and checking out their incredibly long haunted house experience.

Part 9 - Finding Coasters On The Islands of Coney & Long
(October 8, 2017)
​After hitting the originally planned parks to visit, Gary and Phillip take a side trip to New York to seek coaster credits in Coney Island and looking for a couple stops in Long Island.

Part 10 - Taking in More Boston History

​With one more day to spend in Boston before heading home, there are even more great historic sites to visit, several of which are connected to the American Revolution.

​Since there happened to be a hockey game during the last afternoon in Boston, it seemed like a great idea to go see the hometown Boston Bruins host the Colorado Avalanche.
