As the calendar turns to 2022, a new opportunity for travel comes from a friend's travel benefit, which leads to a quick journey to New York so the sake of testing it out, as well as to enjoy a day in the Big Apple for the likes of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and lunch at an original NYC Pizzeria.

Part 1: A Bonus Day in Los Angeles
As the SeaWorld Parks chain continued their previews and openings of 2022 coasters, the chance came to head to California for their San Diego area parks, but leading up to the trip, it was discovered that the Seattle Kraken would be in Los Angeles to play the Kings, so Gary joined Gregg from Park Journey for a night of hockey after exploring the heart of Los Angeles earlier in the day. |
Part 2: Riding New Coasters in San Diego...and Beyond
After enjoying an extra day in Los Angeles, the journey continues South to San Diego with a ride aboard the Pacific Surfliner. Then it's time to visit two San Diego area theme parks for their new coasters, and some bonus redemption coaster credits with some newly found free time. |

Part 1: Struggling to Stumble
The Buzzed Bars Coaster Club held Stumble 325 at Carowinds in the Carolinas, and this trip was planned around it for the sake of visiting several parks that hadn't been seen in a while with some new stops mixed in. Unfortunately, the theme of this trip seemed to be "Changes" as there were some difficulties right off the bat to fly out to Washington DC. |
Part 2: Virginia is for Pre-Stumbles
As this East Coast adventure is finally underway, it's time for a return to two favorite parks in Virginia for the first time in a while to enjoy some old favorites and new coasters. There would be some plan adjustments though as the weather didn't fully cooperate, which also led to some unexpected experiences. |
Part 3: Stumble 325
The main reason for this East Coast adventure, and the first Buzzed Bars Coaster Club event of 2022! Another great chance to hang out with friends and enjoy some awesome coasters at Carowinds, especially getting to experience Fury 325 and Copperhead Strike for the first time. Plus there's a lot of Buzzed Bar shenanigans to share from a fun weekend. |
Part 4: The Post Stumble 325 Coaster Hunt
After enjoying the company of the Buzzed Bars Coaster Club crew at Carowinds, there were a few more parks to visit in various parts of the East Coast for some additional coasters to ride, between some new locations such as the North Carolina Mountains and the outskirts of Philadelphia, along with some previously visited parks such as Six Flags America and Great Adventure! |

Part 1: Going International Again
It's been a while since there was an opportunity to travel internationally, but that chance finally came with a return to Europe for joining several members of Buzzed Bars to enjoy some of the best theme parks the continent has to offer! Before joining the crew, there was the journey to get there going through Canada to get to Paris. |
Part 2: Pre-Stumbling from Paris to Poland
To get this coaster trip in Europe started, there was a visit to Jardin d'Acclimatation during a layover in Paris, which was followed by flights to get to Kraków, and a drive over to Park Kolejowy, where they have a shameless coaster credit and a neat small train ride to enjoy! |
Part 3: Visiting Auschwitz
While not the kind of stop someone would tend to think of making as part of a trip to visit various theme parks, the importance of the sites of Auschwitz felt too significant to pass on, so we went to see both the death camp of Auschwitz-Birkenau and the work camp of Auschwitz I. |
Part 4: The Stumblelandia Coaster Credit Hunt
Time to kick off Stumblelandia, the first ever International Buzzed Bards Coaster Club event! The first day focused on trying to ride as many coasters of Energylandia as we could, including some of the most anticipated coasters of the whole Europe trip! |
Part 6: A Rough Go in the Netherlands
With Stumblelandia completed, a large group of he Buzzed Bars crew head over to the Netherlands for the start of the longer European adventure. Things don't quite go to plan though as some folks find other ways of getting to and from the park, and some of the coasters at Walibi Holland are missed for various reasons. |
Part 7: On to Germany
After the rough patch in the Netherlands, the Buzzed Bars crew continue on to Germany, where they stop by Heide Park and Hansa Park, riding coasters like Colossus, Krake, Flucht von Novgorod and Schwur des Kärnan. There were also some unique experiences with a massive slide tower and a very heavy boat on a water ride. |
Part 10: "Finnishing" in Finland
The Buzzed Bars crew whittles down to the last few who head to the last country of the trip as they continue to Finland for the last three parks, and one of the biggest surprise coasters of the trip. Then comes the journey home after enjoying some final rides of the Great European Coaster Run. |

Part 1: Riding the Stumble Bus
The Buzzed Bars Coaster Club is getting together again, this time in Georgia, and the first day begins with the first ever Stumble Bus to visit two Atlanta Breweries, The Varsity, and the North Georgia State Fair to cap off the night on one of the few permanent fairgrounds coasters in the country. |
Part 3: After the Stumble
With Stumble on my Mind completed, there was an opportunity to find a few missing coaster credits in the mountains of North Carolina and Georgia, leading to a visit to Santa's Land and the Bavaria inspired town of Helen. Then came the chance to join a friend with a passion for aviation at the great Delta Flight Museum near Atlanta's Airport before heading home. |

It's a bit unexpected to be going international again so soon, but an opportunity came with a job change that better accommodate classes to go toward a new career goal and opened up some time to make a return to England for getting to a bucket list coaster before it closes. |
Part 3: Coasters, Canals and More Around Birmingham
The next part of this England adventure continues to the Greater Birmingham area, stopping by the town of Stourport-on-Severn for a coaster and exploring, the heart of Birmingham for another shameless coasters, and wrapping up at Drayton Manor for a few more coasters, and a chance to fulfil a childhood fantasy. |

Part 5: A Day and Evening in Blackpool
One of the longest days of the England trip happens in Blackpool, where that day time is spent enjoying the rides and coasters of historic Blackpool Pleasure Beach, then the evening spent exploring the Blackpool Promenade for their fall nighttime light festival, Illuminations, which features the World Fireworks Championship Blackpool. |
Part 7: The Last Days in England
As this England trip comes to an end, there's a chance to find a few more coasters at a few seaside parks at the likes of Adventure Island, Leisure Island and Harbour Park, plus a visit to a brand new Fright Weekend event hosted by the Marleybrook House, which then leads to the first opportunity for a direct transcontinental flight back home. |
Stumblin' Around Texas...Again

Part 1: Stumblin' Down to Texas
The final Buzzed Bars Stumble of 2022 heads back to Texas for El Stumble II, a do-over of the original stumble with plans to hit Six Flags Fiesta Texas and SeaWorld San Antonio. To kick off the trip, it's time for the journey down to Texas and a couple shameless coaster stops before joining the Buzzed Bars at the party house for the first night of shenanigans! |
Part 2: Stumblin' Around Six Flags Fiesta Texas
As El Stumble II continues, the Buzzed Bars Coaster Club heads to Six Flags Fiesta Texas to enjoy their rides, while getting a surprise backstage tour led by the park's president, Jeffery Siebert. This walkback offers some great views of Iron Rattler and the rest of the park in various locations that aren't part of a regular park visit, including a walk along the park's famous cliff! |
Part 3: The Rest of El Stumble II
For the last part of El Stumble II, the Buzzed Bars Coaster Club enjoyed one more night at the party house before a day enjoying the rides of SeaWorld San Antonio. The for one last hurrah, several made their way out to Riverwalk for dinner which led to a little bit of an early birthday celebration. |

Part 1: Exploring Eastern North Carolina
A trip back to North Carolina for visiting family turns into a chance to rediscover the area because of a last minute change. This leads to enjoying the waterfront and local breweries of Washington, a trip down memory lane with a favorite pizza place and a college basketball game in Greenville, and seeing a history exhibit and old homes in Bath. |
Part 2: A Bit of Christmas and Hockey
In the latter half of this return visit to North Carolina, plans were made to return to PNC Arena for some Carolina Hurricanes hockey against the Seattle Kraken and Dallas Stars, which gave an open day for returning to Busch Gardens for their annual Christmas Town event. |
